Dark energy is weird.

It permeates the whole universe, which makes it unique. Matter, energy, dark matter, the fundamental forces…. exist in filaments; narrow strands weaving their way through space and time…

but not dark energy. It’s not a filament. It’s everywhere. It’s here, it’s there, it’s in the filaments AND in the voids.

It pervades.

And we know fuck all about it.
