Now I ain’t a big fan of water, but this is the third time that I have been in the water with old Bitey bitey around and it’s getting up there with the amount of times that I have nearly been struck by lightning…

ok, you asked for it… I removed this image from my movie footage.

It ain’t the clearest but it sure was obvious in real life… Had to change my budgie smugglers when I got back on board the boat!

no white in the eye I saw.

And I must admit, the footage in motion on the PC makes me feel a little lucky that I am still here… The boat skipper who knows his sharks reckon it might have been a Grey Whaler and around 3.5 to 4 metres in length.

Geepers!!!! I don’t ever want to see one up that close. How big do you reckon it was? Not that it makes much difference to the power in the bite.

The same when they say to thump the ground when your walking in long grass to warn snakes to take off. I’ve killed them with the whipper snipper and gone over them with the rideon. Another myth.

I read somewhere that if you’ve ever been swimming in the ocean you’ve probably been close to a shark. I wonder if it’s true.

There’s 6,000,000,000 people in the world and an average of 7or 8 are taken by sharks.

Can’t remember where I heard that but it puts it into perspective..

Compare 7 or 8 to the road, smoking or suicide tolls….

It’s the thought of being eaten. I’m a bit shark phobic. :(
