I’m not a great one for succulents and cacti, but I do have a few around the place. This plant I think I have had about 40 years. It came from a great aunt. I don’t remember a flower before, but as I said, I’m not that into them so I might have just ignored it. I’m guessing a Mammilaria? Does anyone here have a special interest in these hairy prickly buggers?

I have always thought that Mammilaria were squat, fat, singles with multiple small flowers in rings, but there are apparently about 200 known species so there may be a greater variety than I am aware of.
