I’d written off our wet season last week, so this morning we got 2 inches of rain…
this wet is still a failure… dark days ahead.

The weird shaped ones are Periforme, which I have not yet tasted. Probably tomorrow night with tea.
Yesterday purchased Mushroom growing boards and some spores… will be interesting to see how the little Oyster Mushrooms grow???
This beauty was one of two spotted at church today. The biggest I have seen. Can you spot her consort in one of the pictures? The quality is not that great but he is there.

She’s a good lass… we used to have them quite regularly during the wet, but they’ve gone these days…

I get plenty here. Some years they breed up more. The big fat ones often get eaten by birds but not before they lay some eggs.
