Recycling is a thing around here. Problem is, one often needs an excuse.
Problems.. I am in midst of shifting this path partly because the septic tank is going to be decomissioned and a sewage sludge pump installed. The dry lawn patch is testament to the fact that my soil needs water and only gets it where I need to put it. There are two main species here. The ‘pixie’ lawn seed I intially planted and initially had good success with until i tried to allow it to rely less on me to water it. I’m seriously considering assisting the Chloris truncata (local native) to take over.

I’ve got good seed sources outside the side gate and indeed it is seed blown in that put the Chloris truncata here.
Going back to native grasses makes sense to me.
