A “travel lid” was announced on Veterans Day indicating that Pence and Trump will not leave the White House for the rest of the day. It is the first Veterans Day since 1991 that has not seen either the President or Vice President attend the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
They must surely know how bad this looks so I can only assume that something important is engaging them.
