Just called the police. There was a woman out on the street at the intersection just down from here, crying out “Someone please help me, please help! He’s kicked me in the face! Someone help!” etc etc.

Most unusual for this quiet little village.

Anyway while I was describing the situation, it seems the woman herself called the police, so my assistance was no longer required.
