Tried to watch the first of those Agatha Christie shows, the one that was ‘Ten Little Indians’ or something back in pre-PC days.

They tried so unrelentingly to make it ‘eerie’ and ‘threatening’ that they only succeeded in making it ‘dull’ and ‘tiresome’. Gave it up after twenty minutes, can’t be bothered with the rest.
