Hard to say. A further splintering of the MAGA base, this might be a step too far for some and they’ll cleave off, the rump will have to do some mental gymnastics to forgive Trump of any crimes while baying for blood for anyone else implicated.

Maybe the sort of thing that could lead to impeachment and dismissal in the future, in theory, but not all that realistic right now.
