Just got an interesting phone call.

“Hello, this is <mumble> from <mumble>, returning our call as you requested the other day.”
“I don’t remember requesting a call back from anyone. When was the call?”
“I’ll have a look <pause> Wednesday.”
“Interesting. What time?”
“What?”
“What time was the call?”
“I’ll have a look <pause> 2pm on Wednesday.”
“Well, that’s interesting. At 2pm on Wednesday I was in Melbourne and my phone was at home (country Victoria). How did this call take place?”
“Oh, I’m sorry, we must have the wrong details. Sorry to trouble you.”

Caller (who had a thick accent, though I couldn’t place it) was obviously in a call centre.
