My favourite IGA must have over ordered cream and it was on special for 99 cents. So I got a bottle so see how hard it is to turn it into butter. With the aid of an electric beater, it’s pretty easy it turns out. 175 grams of butter and a cup of buttermilk from 600 mls of cream. Yippee!
So I made a batch of scones with some of the butter and all of the buttermilk. Luckily I’d kept a smidge of cream back from the butter making to have with them. Yum.

I’ll have to try that one day.

Tonight I’m just doing another variety of hen curry.
