Roll up a pair of old socks, get on the floor near him, and start chucking the roll-up about and pretend it’s trying to escape and keep catching it, then letting it go again.
He’ll either soon join in, or sit there staring at you like you’re a sad case.
I’m not going to use cloth or any sort of clothing as “toys”. Coz he won’t know the difference between old cloth/clothes as toys, and clothes/undies/socks hanging on the clothes horse airer to dry. They stay there till I need them.
I got some small bite-sized dog training teats and a long line lead yesterday. We’ll be off down the paddock to do some “Benny Boy…… Come” training once I’ve finished my morning webernetting session, (and some Choobs on how to “Benny boy……Come” training) and Benny Boy has woken up from his morning snooze.
I did the rolled up socks with Daisy when she was a puppy, and she didn’t treat other clothing as toys.
Had more trouble with her chewing the furniture.
