Someone will have to learn the new neighbours.

When i worked for a Council, we had cage traps for hire. Like, if you wanted to traps a possum to be removed from your roof space etc.

A bloke rented one, and i asked about his success with it when he returned it.

He said that the neighbours’ tomcat had a habit of ‘spraying’ his front door almost every night, and we all know what that smells like.

He’d discussed it with the neighbours, who denied that their cat was allowed to ‘roam’ at night.

So, he rented the trap, secured the animal, stowed it in his garage with some water for it, and waited.

Soon the neighbours came enquiring about their missing cat.

“I’ve got a cat in a cage trap in the garage’, he told them, ‘but, that can’t be your cat, because your cat isn’t allowed to roam, is it?”.

Our council also hires out cat traps, there’s a waiting list.

Now I k ow who this cat belongs to, I won’t hesitate in letting them know when it’s on my property. (Confident Jellybean won’t attack or anything, but I don’t have any su patchy for people who let their cats roam.)
