ABC item on a phone tower in St Helens, Tasmania

I’m not a telecommunications engineer, but looking at the picture of the town at the top of the piece, I suspect wherever they put it you will be able to see it from the main street. Those things are very tall.

Thankfully, they’ve put one of those about 2km from here. Helps quite a lot.
I’ll bet the locals don’t even notice it after a short while.

In this image the view was already filled with power pole and lines.

power poles are natural though.

This one’s near Bunnings. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

If you are driving dow the street or even jaywalking across it, there’s no way you’d be looking up at that horrible tower.

Ours is in a paddock on a crossroad on a road train route. No houses or shops anywhere near it. Stands out if you aren’t watching for the 100km/h traffic

LOL

Though she admits scientists haven’t found evidence of adverse health effects from low-level radiation, she worries for herself and her staff. “Down the track, I do wonder and am very concerned about what might come out about the health implications,” she said.

must be nice to live in the 1990s still

sorry, the 2016
