I’m not a telecommunications engineer, but looking at the picture of the town at the top of the piece, I suspect wherever they put it you will be able to see it from the main street. Those things are very tall.

Thankfully, they’ve put one of those about 2km from here. Helps quite a lot.
I’ll bet the locals don’t even notice it after a short while.

Visitor: “How long has that been there?”

Local, squinting in same direction: “What been there? What are you pointing at?”

Yep. I noticed the pole when it was new and naked. Can’t recall when they attached the working stuff but I know it is there now. As you may imagine, I’m coming out of a back rural road onto a road train route.
