So the Democrats are picking up the bits and pieces around the place at the moment. And by lots. This must be worrying Trump’s lot. Does this apparent taste amongst the voters for Democrats translate from the lower levels to the higher levels for later in the year? The pundits still seem to be saying the Democrats are on the nose for not doing anything.
I note that this is a State election, not Federal, and the state seat was held by a Democrat, Chad Brown.
Yes, I saw that, but most recently apparently that area was quite Trumpy. I don’t know how long since the previous Dem was elected.
Sorry, I seem to have broken the quotes. This should fix it.
I did that the other day.
I don’t think that anyone noticed.
Because i don’t think anyone reads my posts.
I know what you mean. I certainly don’t.
I’ve read, in several places, that many (enough?) Americans think it best to vote Democrat for state government and Republican for federal; this would seem consistent with Martinez’s (and Chad’s) election and the Republican dominance at the federal election. Chad was elected in 2016, taking over from Karen St Germain — another Democrat.
how do they flip a seat from democrat to democrat
