Heck, Sri Lanka is the only place I’ve been in a swimming pool with a swim-up-to bar with underwater tiled bar-stools. That same hotel had bars in it open 24 hours. Oh, an the drinks and food were included in the room tariff. Drink and eat as much as you want. The serve-yourself dining halls catered for Muslims – they even served turkey bacon. Which had a similar taste and texture to bacon made from dead pigs.

Sounds damn civilized.
