Not yet, I had a laksa for dinner last night and felt the spice, but did not taste it. :(

The ache is still there and the ‘feeling like you have a bad cold’ remains, but I am managing to cut back on the codeine. I just have to remember not to bend over because that pressure increases the achy.

Yesterday I marked a couple of assessments I may have to go back and remark them (this is why I need to cut down on the codeine – or I just give everyone 15/15. ).

What did they do in the surgery? mini vacuum to suck out all the infected snot? Scrub the sinus cavity with Dettol and a mini wire brush?

Something like that, a complete spring clean, of all sinus cavities. then they inserted some plastic structures along my septum (I can see them) one has pulled away from the septum, the other lays flat against it, I’m sure it’s fine. I think these things dissolve after a time anyway.

One weird thing is that I feel like my eyesight is better. I never used to be able to read the captions on the tv in our bedroom, but I can now. I do not understand the mechanism, I don’t think there is any correlation, but my long distance vision is better.
