Slept in.

Both children spent last night out and stayed out, so no Easter celebrations here. I think this is the first year in about 20 that I have not bought Easter chocolates for the children.

No Easter family thing this year either since mother is too busy trying to unpack, sister is travelling across the country in 4wd and I am still in recovery. It’s a good year.

Our Easter Bunny retired last year (she realised the truth), but we still did the hunt.

Hope your sniffer is as good as new. As it happens, I’m currently writing about scent as sensory information process/stimulation according to Winnie Dunn’s seminal 1997 paper.

The dog is likely to find the last egg :).

This experience has given me some ideas about the role of sensory dullness on mood and behavioural outcomes . I have done no review of the literature yet, but have added to the ever growing list of research options I have.

A Mechanistic Link between Olfaction and Autism Spectrum Disorder by Rosencratz et al. (2015) is an interesting read should you have time and mental capacity.
