Likely an elegant sea snake. About 1.5 metres long she tells me. Recorded as highly venomous.

A kid rocked up to school last week waving a ziploc bag in my face. Turned out the bag contained a recently shed snakeskin.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sea snake in the wild.
