I know 1 in 3 Australians are suffering food insecurity. I didn’t consider that we would be worse than America. That is a sobering thought.

We went to the supermarket yesterday. Shopped for the next fortnight-ish. $480. No meat was purchased. None at all. It is now $21 for mince meat. $9 for chicken wings. I’ll have to compare the food bill with my age pension.
