Nice idea…ineffectual. Never mind it was worth trying.

Not always nut usually, if the battery is installed when the circuit gets wet, it braks things in the circuuit. Always smart to get the battery out as quickly as possible. Also, the soap and lint get all over the place and can disrupt the circuit.
