He stayed with me for an hour or so outside this morning. But where she just lolled around in the sun, he felt the need to keep popping his head through the tomato plants peekaboo style to let me know he was still there. And he also thought part of the job was to wander around on the dirt I had just dug over…he’s got a dementia thing where he walks around backwards for a few minutes. But unfortunately you tend to bump into things when you do that because you can’t see them. It’s amusing for us and it doesn’t seem to worry him.

In my dotage I’ve taken to egressing backwards rather than having to turn around.
