the assessment is broadly a base knowledge demonstration of theories of punishment, purposes of punishment, and justify what parts of the theories should apply to a case study (that I provided) which will scaffold to a second assessment where the case study will be used to design the ideal journey through the CJS.

in one section they were to take two of the references they used in the body of the work and write a short annotation and justify why it applies to their case study.

Yikes. Why not just type a key phrase into google scholar and skim through the works cited there for an appropriate paper?

they didn’t even skim through the work they presented as their assessment. I think you are expecting a lot of them.

to be fair so far “only” 50% of the ones I have marked so far have shown AI use… most of those 50% only some AI use, so I can mark some of it… but I am refusing to mark anything indicated as AI until they can show me proof of working.

People applying to be CCO’s attend a training course with a lot of hands on work and supervision.
From what I’ve seen its really decent and thought out.
