This is from Danielle Moodie

But there is no hero coming. There is only a vacuum where leadership used to be, and it is being filled by something far more sinister than we are prepared to face.

There is a profound, sickening privilege in reacting to war only through the lens of high gas prices and grocery bills. While we complain about the cost of eggs, others are waking up to a sky black with chemicals and smoke. We move through our neighborhoods, watching cranes build luxury condos, rarely stopping to wonder what we would do if those cranes were skeletal remains over the ruins of our churches, synagogues, mosques, and universities.

If the skyline of New York, San Francisco, or Seattle were up in smoke, would we finally move? Or would we remain paralyzed by this pervasive, systemic numbness?

….

Look at the people we’ve “voted” into power. We have a House Minority Leader who treats his platform like a lifestyle influencer on Threads, posting platitudes while the world burns. We have a Senate Majority Leader who has been in office for a lifetime, yet explicitly states his “most important job” is funding a foreign nation with free healthcare and its own nuclear arsenal—while Americans struggle to afford a $500 emergency bill.

….
These are not leaders. They are, to put it bluntly, political “tricks”—bought and sold by whatever corporation or lobbyist slides enough money across the table. They tell us America is “too big” for universal healthcare, “too complex” for quality education, and “too vast” to solve homelessness.

We are now a decade into the era of Trumpism. This isn’t a new phenomenon; it’s a slow-acting poison that has reached the vital organs of the state. We watched as media moguls clapped like seals for ratings, ignoring the fact that they were fueling an army of radicalized incels because “Trump was good for business.”

Now, we face a 79-year-old man with nothing to lose—a man who openly admits he isn’t tethered to the idea of heaven or a legacy. He is surrounded by a “Stepford Cabinet” of sycophants who believe they are fighting a holy crusade, using the Bible to justify cruelty and praying for “overwhelming violence” against their enemies. These are people who think they can outsmart God by ushering in the apocalypse through sheer devastation.

The “Broligarchy” and the Replacement of Humanity

While we are distracted by manufactured culture wars, the “broligarchy”—the tech titans we were told to worship as geniuses—is quietly dismantling our future. They aren’t investing trillions into AI to solve climate change or cure cancer; they are doing it to replace you.

They are building a world where entry-level knowledge is obsolete, where the pipeline for the next generation of thinkers is being severed for the sake of a “circle jerk” of automation. They don’t need workers; they need data. And we gave it to them for free, traded for the illusion of hierarchy and the ability to post photos of our vacations.

A Coffin Closing

The “make-pretend” life we’ve been living is rapidly coming to a close—closing with the finality of a coffin lid.

People who suggest the Democrats are just as bad as the Republicans are absolute fucking morons.

I respectfully disagree.

All Biden had to do to ensure that Kamala Harris win the 2024 elections was to stop sending bullets and bombs to kill children in Palestine. Biden chose funding Israel over saving America.

Biden sabotaged Kamala Harris whilst exploiting the hopes, dreams and aspirations of generations of Black women. He may have broken Dems in the same way as Trump has demolished the Republicans.

Both Republicans and Democrats conspired together to use the neoliberalist Poverty as a Policy Choice for the last 50 years. Now 70% of Americans are living pay check to pay check. They work 2-3 jobs over 6-7 days and they pay rent and skip meals so their kids can eat.

It’s heartening to hear that you’re so pleased with Trump’s second term that you no longer believe the Democrats would have done better had they won.
