The first call at 6am was, “can you tell him he needs to check in?” and the second call was, “can you let him know he needs to return to the waiting room?” Both times I told them, I’m not with him, if he’s not answering for you, he’s not gonna answer for me. I did offer to go with him, but he declined the offer. He’s usually pretty good with things like this.

He doesn’t have a phone which blocks unknown numbers. He’s quite deaf so probably didn’t even hear the phone ringing.
