Pre-existing mould – We we admit there was some but it got drastically and quickly worse after the cyclone passed. They couldn’t be convinced.

$6K to remove the kitchen & check that all the mould has been removed. I’m not sure how much a new kitchen will be (including a new induction cooktop & oven) but I figure between $10k – $20. We’re not going to rebuild it as it was, the oven & fridge will be moved to the other side (they were in the RH corner in those photos) so we can open the doors on them without blocking the walkway out of the kitchen in that corner.
