The wasps hate me. I accidentally sat on a chair with one of their homes underneath. I was stung by 7 wasps. It did not go well for me. I have a high level of wasp situational awareness.

Painful! The red welts that came up all over my back were half a centimetre thick. I now carry phenergan with me. When I got it at the chemist they suggested I should go to ER. I didn’t have the time. It worked a treat.

I have to regularly high pressure wash the bricks on the house as that is where they were breeding. I love insects. But I situationally aware of the wasps. They defeated me.

They can be a menace.

Sarahs mum was highly allergic to European wasps and had a horrible experience of being stung.

She was always on high alert as they do sneak inside houses quite often on this island.
