Thanks for spurring me on. I looked again, and see that there is a (new?) Yamaha receiver on the market that might well suit. It has a triple connection for a turntable. So, I’ll look again at the rest of the specs. It’s more than I wanted to pay, but worth considering.

Meantime, this is the receiver I will examine. When I looked a few years back, this seemed to be a good value Hi-Fi shop.
