Talking about kimchi, that’s on the menu this evening.

First course of tomato soup followed by kimchi (the cheap Polish one), butter beans and tinned salmon.

Would have preferred a hot main course but there’s just not much food in the house until the Coles delivery later in the week, unless I visit the IGA.

Actually I’ve decided to cook some onion and heat up the beans and salmon with it, then add the kimchi.

The summer sun is fading as the year grows old and darker days are drawing near so cold evening meals are no longer on the menue.
It’s getting to the stage of roasts and hearty stews.
