Well, that wasn’t fun.
My Australian bank phone call was handled by what sounded like an Indian call centre. It was about my Australian tax residency status. So an important call.
The line was popping and bubbly, and kept cutting out. Background noises.
The woman had a very strong accent.
Part of the call featured a pre-recorded section detailing the legalities etc, a female with a traditional Australian accent. It was really clear and understandable.
Faaaaark. My ears are tired from trying to understand what the call centre woman was saying.
