Haven’t started the thing for 8 months. Put petrol in, and it just pisses out everywhere.

It starts, and runs all right, but can’t have petrol piss out everywhere around a hot motor. But then again, if I burn the thing to bits, it’s an option.

I know where it’s coming from. I can feel a split (can’t see it) in the fuel hose where it goes into the carby.

Bugger of a thing to replace too. Basically gotta pull the carby apart and get the petrol tank off somehow. (and get a piece of pipe).

Ironically, after 8 months the starter battery still had a full charge in it to start it..

I should be able to manage. Tis a “Chonda” 6.5hp. I’ve got a few of ‘em round the place.

Got a new chainsaw as well. All I’ve done is start it so far.

Quite a bit of fallen branches around that need chainsawing up that I just mow around ATM.

Oh. A firefighter pump motor. Shouldn’t be too hard. You’ve probably got a motor that could donate a fuel line. All fixed by lunch tomorrow…
