Haven’t started the thing for 8 months. Put petrol in, and it just pisses out everywhere.

It starts, and runs all right, but can’t have petrol piss out everywhere around a hot motor. But then again, if I burn the thing to bits, it’s an option.

I know where it’s coming from. I can feel a split (can’t see it) in the fuel hose where it goes into the carby.

Bugger of a thing to replace too. Basically gotta pull the carby apart and get the petrol tank off somehow. (and get a piece of pipe).

Ironically, after 8 months the starter battery still had a full charge in it to start it..

FMD….. and you lot reckon you’ve got problems!!!!

At least the tractor seems fully fixed now. $2,400 later……………. 🤬🤬🤬

Speaking of motors…my bush mower has been returned to the shop again. Last week we made them start it in the shop after the servicing, then took it to the bush and I mowed. Yesterday when we went to the bush I decided to make sure it was still starting properly. No! 20 or 30 pulls on the cord and still no start. Turned fuel on, off, etc. With choke. Without choke. etc. So it’s gone back. Man in the shop couldn’t start it without Start You Bastard. So we left it with him. He was muttering something about having to pull the carby apart when we left.
