Do you have a tennis ball or similar? Place ball between butt and wall, move butt so ball hits the muscle squeezing the nerve. Or teach mr buffy how to trigger point your glutes. There’s probably YouTube videos.

Thanks, I’d forgotten the tennis ball move. I’ve got a set of stretches that I normally do a couple of times a week to keep this at bay, but it got me. I blame Bruna – she made me let my guard down. It couldn’t possibly be the stupid mower that wouldn’t start when I pulled the cord so many times…
