Intraosseous ganglion. It’s official now..Dr Foot Doctor says so from the scans last week.
In under right ankle bone.
It’s fluid that builds up inside a bone. Not a cyst or infection.
Mr Foot Doctor is gunna cut it open, drain it and fill the hole with a bone graft.
Scheduled for Mon 18th May. That’ll be the third time my right foot has been operated on.
Might as well just chainsaw off the whole leg and chuck it in the dam. You know, a stitch in time, saves nine, so they say..
Bloody!
Can feel the same thing in my left ankle as well. But no where near as painful. So probably that’ll need doing at some stage too.
Eek! I had a ganglion on my ankle when I was about 12 – I did a lot of ballet – but it must have been in the tissue, not the bone, as it just went away over time. Wishing you plenty of healing vibes – you have had way too much shit happening in your life lately ((hugs))
