Bosslady was about the ragequiz a word game because they included “lazy” as a kind of animal.

Turns out, per the dictionaries, that it is an old word for the sloth (the animal, not the sin).

That’s a new one for me.

Same.

Yesterday I was playing a word game and played yoke, thinking it was a gearstick-type thing. But the official Scrabble dictionary doesn’t list that as a definition.

“A yoke is a wooden beam or frame used to join a pair of draft animals (like oxen) together for pulling loads. It also refers to a fitted shoulder piece on a garment, a carrying pole for people, or a symbol of servitude and bondage. Synonyms include bond, burden, connection, frame, link, or servitude. “
