Yesterday I was playing a word game and played yoke, thinking it was a gearstick-type thing. But the official Scrabble dictionary doesn’t list that as a definition.

It can be in some aircraft, usually British ones. For example what’s usually called the control column in most aircraft is called a yoke in the Concorde.
