Let’s say you’re working on your right glutes. You’re face down on the bed. Mrs V uses her elbow to get the sore spots. Then, you put your right foot on the back of your left knee which rotates the hip and Mrs V will find some really sore spots that way.
I probably shouldn’t go on about this, but it works for me:
I also have a variation of that in my routine. But I cross one leg over the other and then twist. You do have to be a bit careful initially until you get a bit of twist back into the muscles.
Very, very, very small movements, to build up some muscleyness.
