Getting that way for me too where I have to give up everythig apart from daily survival.

It is a hard and difficult set of changes.

One of my friends who turned 92 yesterday lost his wife of 60 years and he’s just moved into a retirement home.

I went and stayed with him for a couple of weeks. My social battery is pretty low. So I mainly listened. He could stay up late and get up early. I havd to go to bed early to get up early.

These life changes need some TLC and deep listening.

Also talking about them let’s others know they are not alone.

He said that he forgot to do one thing,. He forgot to retire.
