Had a chat with the CEC last week, who identified that Indigenous cultural stigma, intergenerational trauma, and addiction history are a barrier to school connectedness, but having a mob around them can be an enabler to school connectedness. But through the lens of autistic learners, who are less likely to be diagnosed for various reasons. Whilst interesting, I think I’ve bitten off more than I can chew considering I only have 500 words to discuss the whole thing, including my (limited) role in it all.

That’s a really tight word limit. Sounds like you have all the information that you need.

It’s 1500 words to discuss three barriers, so about 500 words per barrier. My feedback on essays usually includes “you could go into deeper analysis” but there’s only so much I can do with tight word counts even after deleting superfluous words.
