OK, time for today’s haul:

An Amanita (probably poisonous) and one of the Clavulinas

……….

A couple of sorts of Cortinarius (webcaps)

……….

Another Cortinarius and Gymnopilus allantopus

……….

Hydnum (Hedgehog mushrooms. The European ones are considered a delicacy. There is not enough information about the ones growing here, but some people do eat them), and a Lepiota.

……….

A Leucopaxillus and a Ramaria

……….

Russula clelandii

And a Trametes (turkeytail)

That’s quite a selection of fungi

I thought I wasn’t finding much until I had 160 photos to process. They are all cropped/sorted/named (although some just say “gilled mushroom brown” or similar) and I’ve put them onto iNaturalist in the Great Aussie Fungi Hunt. The Hunt finishes tonight. More observations will still go up as people sort out their photos from July. But the Hunt has gone very, very well this year.

160 photos is a delight!

The Great Fungi Hunt has gone splendidly. G

It is great to see all the Citizen Scientists out there..
