Unfortunately they had huge audiences.

What is also wrong is that sort of shock behaviour gets rewarded.
We have Kyle Sandilands who is a terrible person earning himself millions even when cancelled.
The cancel culture itself is so false, they don’t care the cancelled person is awful its about profit so it lack crediblity.
It’s why all these men in tv, movies and music got away with being sex offenders for so long.
