Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) forecasts suggest Australia will not meet its goal of renewables producing 82% of electrical power by 2030, instead being on a trajectory to 75% in 2030. Wholesale prices on the National Electricity Market have reached their lowest levels since 2020.
