Rutile is a component of mineral rich sand and has been extracted for many years from sand to make titanium.

I doubt that it will make any noticeable difference to your soil unless it is iron deficient.

Yes Rough it would have been mined from here—but I have had a few containers in the shed for decades left from previous owners—and just wanted to know what to do with it—VERY HEAVY stuff

Yes ruining a lot of beaches in the process.

Not sure about those prices .. I am sure that a tonne of Tin oxide is worth a couple of grand at least so You’d think that Titanium would cost more but I am unsure of the purity of the raw rutile and the costs involved in extraction..
