Rutile is a component of mineral rich sand and has been extracted for many years from sand to make titanium.
I doubt that it will make any noticeable difference to your soil unless it is iron deficient.

Yes Rough it would have been mined from here—but I have had a few containers in the shed for decades left from previous owners—and just wanted to know what to do with it—VERY HEAVY stuff
It is worth a veritable fortune if you can extract the titanium from it.
They mined a lot here—

Yes ruining a lot of beaches in the process.
Rutile Cost: about $10 per ton. Ti (TITANIUM): what is it and properties: http://www.valdosta.edu/~tmanning/hon399/marios.htm

Indeed so. :(
Not sure about those prices .. I am sure that a tonne of Tin oxide is worth a couple of grand at least so You’d think that Titanium would cost more but I am unsure of the purity of the raw rutile and the costs involved in extraction..

Agriculture has ruined far more bushland than mining has.. Roads and cities would be next.
My oath Rough you are very right there
