I’m sure a member of the forum can help. For reasons unknown my default browser has become Bing. As I have used Google for many years this is the one I prefer. Can someone advise on how to make Google the default browser. Step by step is preferable.

Using Windows 10?
Bottom left corner of the screen menu options – click
select the settings icon (the one that looks like a gear wheel, normally second from the bottom)
felt hand column – click “default apps”
scroll down to “web browser” click that and it should come up with a list to select.

felt = left
Bing and Google are search engines.
Internet explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera etc are Internet browsers .
Open Google and go to setting.
In that you’ll find a ‘default browser’ setting.
Set that to Google and Bob’s your Uncle.
1 . Download Netscape….

Mine is a bit different:
Gear wheel (settings) ——> Apps (in right column) ——> Default Apps (in left column) ——>

sorry, missed a step
Why not stick with Bing?
IMO we should always avoid using the No. 1 brand for any goods or services.
The exception being spreadsheets, because Google Sheets are sheet, and no-one else can open my Lotus 123 files.

Using Apple products is a cure worse than the disease.
