Still had to check who that is. I must have blanked him out. Or just not bothered to read the news items.

I’m sure we’ll hear how the move went within the next 12 month or so once his electricity and internet is connected.

They’re calling it a heat pump but it probably is just a hot air conditioner. Might be able to get some cool air out of it in summer :)

Fiddling with the remote, the coolest it gets is 18, which would still be welcome on hot days.

Just be a little wary. They can be expensive to run, if your budget is limited.

Ta for the warning. I’ll make note of how much I use it and inspect the damage on my next electricity bill (which is usually ends up in credit these days).

Pay money on a regular basis before you get the bill and it you use less than what you’ve paid you get credit

Fair enough.
Yeah it’s a great way of doing it, if you authorise a direct debit you also get a rebate which is probably the cost of not getting people skipping out on bills, they seem to manage it so you are a few hundred dollars in credit, if it creeps up they cut down the payment. Good for the electricity company they must have a lot of funds washing around.
Modern air cons can be surprisingly cheap to run. You’d only need a few hours every day.

Nice stuff you have there!
I was about to say that I have one of these. But of course I don’t.
