We’ve got a few lemons from neighbours but when we cut them open, there are small patches of brown discolouration.
This is NOT on the outside, just the inside.
Is it a worry?
Thanks!

Not described in a list of citrus diseases.
I don’t think it is a concern but was curious, is all.
Most likely the tree is in acidic soil and deficient in minerals. Should be as edible as normal.

My ‘special’ Long Island Ice tea thanks you also.
If the lemons are a bit dry as well as brown on the inside, it could be spined citrus bugs. My lemon tree has been attacked by these for the last few years, but not this year. They’re quick little things, but I must have managed to squish enough of them to make a difference.
