My favourite bad selfie is more than 10 years old (so difficult to find). I had placed the camera on a picnic table aimed at a tree branch with a suitably rural background. I had intended to photograph myself sitting on the tree branch, but accidentally set the timer for 2 seconds rather than 10. Result – a startlingly artistic shot of half of the rear of my shorts in front of a tree branch. If I can find it I’ll post it here.

Have two new bad selfies from last week. Below you’ll see a collection of self-portraits, almost all by retirees (although they look like kindergarten). Which is mine?

I’m guessing top row, 2nd or 3rd from right.

isn’t that just a photo? I mean: Definition: a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media.

the of oneself seems to be pertinent here

I’ve never posted images of the recurring rash that causes me to want to scratch my skin off, that keeps come back and stayed since the tick nymphs burrowed under my skin in 2014 up Wilson’s creek near Nimbin.
