Not in terms of just metres squared, but more diverse in the sense of lots of different countries with lots of different cultures. So personally I’m curious to see which countries BG will be visiting :)

It’s more “broken up” Veg Gardener, and the different cultures leave our state rivalries for dead…
All that divine food!
Veg when I went to London I saw a postcard whith Australia superimposed over the map of Europe. Perth was near The SW coast of Portugal/Spain, and Cairns was near Moscow.
Australia has a population of 20million and Europe has 731million…

and I luuuurrrrve almond marzipan…
we fly to London on Sunday 2nd August and arrive back in Melbourne Friday 4 September. In between we will be definitely going to besides England: Belgium, Holland and Gibraltar, and who knows where else we may yet plan to visit while we are there.

Aww, you arrive in London two days after I fly out of London!! We’re sticking to the UK this time – probably just England, Ireland, and Wales (sorry Scots :))

VG, if you go to Wikipedia and search for Europe, there is a very long page which is probably too long to bother reading – but scroll down a bit and there is a very good map of Europe. I just had a look to find out how many countries in Europe – about 50, apparently!

You need to work out a rough plan BG. It’s so easy to get sidetracked and you don’t have a lot of time. Decide whats really important to you and work out the best route.

roughly speaking we need to be in Belgium on the 7th for my cousin’s daughter’s wedding (she is like an extra daughter as she stayed with us for a while when she and her mum were having a rough time of it.) During August Triumph are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Triumph Bonneville so we will be attending some of the events for that. Mr BG has owned both the original Bonneville and now the latest edition. We will also be catching up with rellies of Mr BG in England, Holland and Gibraltar so we’ll be planning around them as well.

You’l love it, but there’s so much to see you’ll just be scratching the surface. Our six months was way too short a time.

I gained about 5 kilos the first time I went to England. I put that 1/4 down to Grandpa who constantly forced us to EAT MORE, and 3/4 down to all the pub meals where vegetables means potatoes.

We were camping, and living on a shoe string, and walked everywhere.

I can see how that would have the opposite effect :) I’m hoping London works it’s magic on me again this time though, I could do with another 5 kilos at the moment!

we were still packing the night before. I remember sitting in the lounge with stuff everywhere wondering how on earth we would fit it all.
It’s amazing how light we went really considering we had to take camping and cooking stuff as well.
What great news BG. Glad you are taking the time to travel a little bit.
Wow! Lucky you BG! Sounds great!
Oh how egg-citing……… need someone to pack your bag between flights????
Posting off Percy to you tomorrow BG:)
Can you please email your postal address to make sure I have it right.
Thanks.
