Planet X?

At least one space expert knew where to find it, years ago:

These objects are still gravitationally bound to sun even that far out, I wonder how much of a nudge it would take to send them flying off into interstellar space.

Not Planet X but another piece of evidence that Planet X could be the influence on its orbit
If it exists it won’t be Planet X anymore, but planet IX

More work needs to be done to find dark objects.

We’re onto something if it also contains the shaving foam atom…

A whole dwarf planet with a Brazilian ?

It would be a bare world for all the universe to see.

The problem is they are dark and space is dark, plus they are far away and probably very cold

Yes, but I find that a bit suspicious.

> 2015 TG387, 300 kilometres across

Further out than Sedna, that’s impressive.

Much smaller than Sedna, not so impressive. So it can’t been called a “dwarf planet” yet. In fact, so small that it can’t be called a dwarf planet at all.
There are only 11 confirmed dwarf planets, and the smallest is 921 km in diameter. Or to put it another way, it’s about the 300th largest lump of rock in the solar system.

The discovery of dwarf planets has just about ground to a complete halt. I could even claim that “the solar system is full”

Here’s a table of the number of new discoveries of centaurs and Scattered Disk Objects SDOs by year. (2015 TG387 is a SDO, so is any hypothetical new planet)
2018 – 2
2017 – 10
2016 – 14
2015 – 90
2014 – 114 – High because of discoveries by the WISE satellite
2013 – 63
2012 – 28
2011 – 34
2010 – 31
2009 – 15
2008 – 23
2007 – 16
2006 – 14
2005 – 23
2004 – 23
2003 – 12
2002 – 14

1994 – 1
